As someone who has had experience with personal chefs in the past, Chef Rafa is exactly what you are looking for. With less than 24 hours notice he created an amazing meal was professional and made my night so enjoyable. He was open to menu changes and was very flexible to meet our wishes. I have had chefs come to my home and ask so many questions but Chef Rafa was self sufficient and made me feel like a guest in my own home. As a foodie and guests who are foodies, the food was spectacular! Felt like we were at a five star restaurant. My father thoroughly enjoyed the meatballs and he is extremely particular about meatballs. We all left dinner full and had left overs to enjoy the next day. We are looking forward to have Chef Rafa again in our home in the near future.

I hired Chef Rafa for my 40th Birthday Party at my home. From start to finish he was friendly, polite, respectful, communicative, reliable and punctual. Before the event, we exchanged several calls and texts planning the menu and presentation. One week prior to my party, Rafa came to my home to solidify the plan for my event. On the day of, Chef Rafa showed up exactly when he said he would (4 hours before start time). He brought with him 2 assistant chefs and 2 waitresses who were also very friendly, respectful, experienced, and hardworking. Chef Rafa fully executed the menu and presentation of 10 hors d’oeuvres, all within the time frame given...and at the desired temperature. Each item was beautiful and delicious, especially the coconut shrimp and filet mignon bites! Before leaving, Rafa and his team cleaned my kitchen, mopped my floors, and put everything away as best they could. I would certainly hire Chef Rafa and his team again. I believe his private chef services are priced competitively and you will be pleased with his quality work at your special event!

We have had private chefs before and this was quite literally the most amazing meal we have ever had in our lives. The ahi tuna tartar was better than Santorini, Mykonos, Amalfi Coast, Hilton Head, or anywhere else in Florida. The spices and sauces on the Surf & Turf were impeccable. Chef Rafa was accommodating when plans changed and was both friendly and professional. I will always use him and forever give him my highest recommendation.
